TOSTEM Asia Design Award 2024

Submitted projects should demonstrate proficiency in incorporating aluminum into distinctive architectural designs, emphasizing exceptional design elements such as architectural language or detailed design.

The objective is to champion architectural designs that encapsulate the essence of local contexts and cultures, alongside residential projects that reflect the individuality of their owners. The project should highlight the utilization of TOSTEM’s products to promote sustainable living practices for a brighter future.

CRITERIA

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

All installations must be completed using TOSTEM products to qualify.

ARCHITECTURAL DRAWINGS : Architectural drawings explaining the concept of "Context Reconnextion and/or Building Technology for Sustainable Living" are required.

ARCHITECTURAL ILLUSTRATION : Architectural graphics, diagramaticor visual renderings explaining the concept of "Context Reconnextion and/or Building Technology for Sustainable Living" are required.

JUDGING PROCESS

Longlisting

The TOSTEM ASIA Admin Team and design experts will review all entries, selecting 40-50 projects based on the criteria for Building of the year 2024 prizes

Shortlisting

All of the jury panel will select up to 20 projects from the longlisted entries, scoring according to criteria.

Finalization

The guest jurors will select 5 winners from the shortlisted projects for Building of the year 2024 prizes.

Special mention

The jurors from TOSTEM will select other 5 winners from the shortlisted projects for special mention prizes.

PRIZES

Ten winners will be awarded an all-expenses-paid trip to Tokyo, Japan, for four days and three nights.

This includes attending an awards ceremony with media coverage and an interview for the VIDEO with the 5 winners of building of the year 2024.

Additionally, each winner can bring one companion. The trip also features a tour of Japan’s famous architectural landmarks and is scheduled from November 6th to 9th, 2024.

- The jury decision is considered final.
- Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or other rewards.
- The company reserves the right to award prizes only th those who comply with the specified conditions.
- The company reserves the right to change conditions, schedule, program and benefits without prior notice.
- The company will cover only airfare, accommodation (4 days 3 nights), transportation fees related to TOSTEM's program, and meals related to TOSTEM's program.
- Prizes do not cover passport fees, visa fees, and other personal expenses.
